Our guest on this edition of the podcast is up and coming videographer and photographer Marcel Laferriere. Marcel has always loved the outdoors with one side of his family with roots to the Whiteshell Provincial Park and the other to Sandilands Provincial Forest.
For Marcel, fishing and hunting are traditions that he cherishes close to his heart. That being said, it wasn’t until he picked a camera and found that little red record button on top that things really changed. It started with amateur photography and turned into learning how to film, edit, tell stories. Nine years later, he has a full time job making content in the outdoor industry.
I love fishing and hunting, but, there’s something I love just a little more, and it’s filming fishing and hunting. Travelling across this incredible province working for Travel Manitoba capturing experiences and telling stories in the outdoor industry is truly a dream job and I am forever grateful for every second of it.
